Overweight
or Build Life
Insurance
Someone's build is one of the oldest life insurance risk
characteristics. Starting back in the early 1900's is when
people who were described as being overweight were offered
higher rated offers from the life carriers.
People who are deemed overweight or having build issues
statistically have and increased risk for
Coronary Heart Disease,
Diabetes,
Hypertension and Hyperlipidemia. This is whey the
underwriters have build chart guidelines that they follow in
underwriting someone's life.
